I'll hop on this one before anypony else comments!

Nice work artist! I Like the art style and how it fits the style with a children's book. Top of my slate for sure.

Although, the idea kinda reminds me of a story on Fimfiction. That fact will make it (maybe) a teensy bit harder to make a story of it. Although, I'm excited to read the stories connected to this!

Review—
Prompt relevance: very high relevance
Style: crisp lines, good proportioning, nice shading
Background: multicolored, accentuates the subject
Story potential: high
Result: top tier

Lil Pip the Pirate is ripe for story ideas, even if some have been done before. Execution is nice, though his head looks a little hamstery.

This art style is very cute !! I really like the linework ! I feel like water color would have served this piece better for coloring but its still very nice and a def top contender from my view ! :D
( the soft pink of his nose is adorable omg )

Fair number of drawings that fit within the "Adorable" category this round, and, for me, I think this tops the chart in that class. I'll ignore the floating cutlass to d'aww over the pink muzzle and mouse-like ears.

Also, that better be root beer, mister!

Extremely well done.

I actually really dig this. The fuzzy style, the lines are good, and all the angles and proportions feel really spot on. That you got that much detail and shading going on with colored pencils of all things (I assume) is impressive.

A cute, fuzzy, huggable sketch.Would sacrifice other leg to Moby Dick in a heartbeat. Upper mid tier.

This could easily be an illustration for a children's book, Artist. Pro-tier line work and coloring. My only real quibble is that Pip's lip being cleft like that skews his features more towards rodent, rather than pony.

Still! I'm very impressed with this piece. I have a sneaking suspicion you've made money doing this kind of art. If not, you easily could!
