This.

This is so fucking funny. Its nine o’clock in the morning and I’m waking up everyone in my house. Bless this picture.

But I digress.

I love the detail of evil Starlight and Twilight. The sweat trickling off of her face is magnifique. And the sly looks they’re giving Chrysalis is perfect.

My little critique about this is the sparkles on Starlight. Typically sparkles are more transparent and don’t have outlines to them, they’re just drawn on. If you just draw them on and increase their transparency (only by a little, though, it’s very easy to make them almost clear) it would help a ton. ;)

This will be going high on my slate. Keep drawing!!!

Review—
Prompt relevance: relevant
Style: clean lines, nice effects
Background: confusing yet intriguing background, it looks like they’re in one of the Tardises
Story potential: unknown
Result: strong contender

I say story potential “unknown” because I am sure there is a story here, but I just can’t connect the dots in my head to form anything other than “Villain jeopardy, with Starlight, Evil Twi, and Chrysalis... and Chrysalis knows nothing, John Snow.”

sorry Chrysalis, it looks like YOU DON'T KNOW JACK.

I kinda wanted to write a crackfic for dis pic about dat, but most people probably have no idea what game I'd be referring to, and it'd be too much trouble to come up with funny lines for Cookie all by myself so eh. Just imagine it exists.

(Art) Genre: Sean Connery

(Art) Thoughts: My impressions, in rough order of having them: Wow, that Starlight is gorgeous. Why does Twilight have a huge battle scar or war paint? WHY ARE CHEESE CURDS STREAMING DOWN CHRYSALIS' FACE

Ultimately I think I like this, though. It's expressive as heck, even if I don't have a good sense of context. It's rendered well, and it gives us an absurd scenario. That's all I really want.

(Art Tier): Low High

I don’t grok all the subtexts, but this is a fun cartoon. Trans-temporal Jeopardy? Chryssie’s expression sells it. Upper tier.
