A Party for Kiki

Kiki sat in front of the TV, flipping through the channels. It didn’t take long for her to find something to watch. There playing on the screen was her favorite show in the world: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Ever since she saw her first episode, Kiki loved watching the six pony friends go on great adventures, solve problems, and most importantly have fun. She especially like unicorn Twilight Sparkle who was learning the value of friendship.

“Another one over,” Kiki said with a sigh as the credits rolled, signaling the end of the episode. “I wish I could go to Ponyville and meet Twilight and her friends.”

No sooner had she said this, Kiki saw a purple ball of energy, growing bigger by the second. Then the ball vanished, and in its place stood none other than Twilight Sparkle.

“Hello there,” the unicorn said, “I’m Twilight Sparkle. What’s your name?”

“It’s nice to meet you. I’m Kiki,” the girl said, “How did you find me?”

“Well I was trying out a spell to listen to wishes. That’s when I heard your wish to meet me and my friends. I didn’t expect that I’d be meeting a non-pony though. Anyway, are you ready?”

“Ready for what,” Kiki asked still coping with the fact that her favorite pony was standing there and talking with her.

“To go to Ponyville,” Twilight said with a giggle, “That’s what you wished for, right?”

“You mean, you can take me to Ponyville for real?”

“Sure I can! I got here from Ponyville, so bringing you back with me shouldn’t be a problem.”

“I’d love to go,” Kiki said, barely able to contain her excitement.

“Ok then,” Twilight said, “All you have to do is sit close to me and I’ll teleport you there. It may feel a little strange, but you should be ok.”

Kiki immediately sat next to Twilight as the unicorn’s horn began to glow purple.

“Are you ready,” Twilight asked.

“Ready!”

A purple ball appeared and enveloped the two. Then in a flash, the two were gone. The two reappeared a few seconds later on the second floor of the library.

“Are you ok,” Twilight said as she stood up.

“I feel a little tingly, but I think I’m ok,” Kiki said trying to get her bearings.

“Well, welcome to the Ponyville Library, Kiki!”

Kiki looked around the room at the multitude of books that she saw. She couldn’t believe that she was finally at the place that she saw so many times from the show.

“This is so cool,” she said looking around the room at all the different things, “I can’t wait to see the rest of Ponyville!”

“Well, I have a surprise for you then,” Twilight said with a smile.

“A surprise,” Kiki said, “What is it?”

“If I told you then it wouldn’t be a surprise,” the unicorn said with a little wink, “Close your eyes and you’ll get the surprise really soon.”

Kiki closed her eyes and waited for Twilight’s instructions.

“Ok now, I’m going to lead you downstairs. Just follow what I say and I promise you won’t bump into anything, ok?”

“Ok,” Kiki said as she waited for Twilight’s instructions.

After a few moments of Twilight helping her down the stairs safely, Kiki waited for further information from the unicorn.

“Ok Kiki. Open your eyes!”

Kiki opened them and was greeted by the first floor decorated with tons of streamers, balloons, games, food, and drinks. And there standing to greet her were none other than Twilight’s five best friends.

“Surprise,” they all yelled as they went over to greet the girl.

“Howdy there. Mah name’s Applejack. Ah’ run Sweet Apple Acres in Ponyville. Pleasure to meet you Kiki!”
With that, the orange pony took Kiki’s hand and shook it.

“Oh… hello there. I’m Fluttershy. It’s really nice to see a… um… human here. I take care of the animals in Ponyville”

The yellow Pegasus stood there awkwardly for a moment, before returning back to the group.

“Darling, it is an honor to meet you. My name is Rarity, manager of Carousel Boutique.”

With a graceful bow, she returned to the others.

“Hi there Kiki! The name’s Rainbow Dash, future Wonderbolt and the most awesome Pegasus in all of Ponyville!”

With that, Rainbow Dash flew around the room and then flew back to where her friends were standing.

“Hi there! I’m Pinkie Pie, the number one party planning pony! I made this party just for you! Well, of course my friends helped me, but still, were you excited?”

“I was very surprised,” Kiki said, “Thanks for having me.”

“Alright Kiki,” Twilight said, “Enjoy your party!”

And enjoyed the party Kiki did!

She spent hours playing games, listening to music, dancing, and enjoying delicious food. She also made it her mission to get to know each of the ponies at the party. It was a wonderful time for her to get meet so many friendly ponies that before she had only seen on TV or in a toy form. Now she could laugh, talk, play and have fun with them.

“Alright everypony,” Twilight said to her friends and Kiki, “I think it’s time for Kiki to return home.”

“Awwww! Can’t she stay,” Pinkie said in protest.

“Pinkie, she needs to go back to where she lives. Her parents and sister will miss her if she stays.

“Will I ever see you all again,” Kiki said, wondering if this was the only time she would ever get to meet the ponies she loved so much.

“Of course you will,” Twilight said, “You can come to Ponyville at any time.”

“Next time ah’ want to show you Sweet Apple Acres,” Apple jack said, “Ah’ can introduce you to the whole family there and you can pick apples.”

“You can come to my cottage and meet the animals,” Fluttershy said softly, “That is, if you want to.”

“I can show you the Boutique and make you a lovely dress dear,” Rarity said.

“It would be awesome to hang out with you so you can see my awesome stunts I’m practicing,” Rainbow Dash said.

“Ooooh! You can make cupcakes with me,” Pinkie said, “Of course you have to eat some after making them, because that’s the whole fun of baking!”

“And I can show you my library and my magic,” Twilight.

“Thanks for the great party and meeting all of you,” Kiki said.

The five friends then encircled her and gave her a big hug as they said their goodbyes. They then stepped back as Twilight stood next to Kiki.

“Alright ponies, I’ll be back soon,” Twilight said.

With a glow of her horn she and Kiki were surrounded in a purple ball and disappeared from the library.

Twilight then reappeared with the girl back at the house.

“Ok Kiki,” Twilight said, “Did you have a great time in Ponyville?”

“It was the best day ever for me, Kiki replied as she hugged the unicorn, “Thanks for everything!”

“You’re welcome. Whenever you want to come back to visit, all you have to do is make a wish and I’ll find you.”

With their last goodbye Twilight teleported away, leaving Kiki with a smile on her face at being able to meet all the ponies she loved. All it took was one wish to make her dreams come true for new adventures and new friends!
