Stupid Cupid
Baby flying with a bow and arrow
Flew fast along the straight and narrow

In a hurry to bring true love
To a couple who really just wants hugs

Shooting straight through the heart
This trait to have is an import art

Because if your aim is off
The person will just not scoff

For the target is missed
And they'll be pissed

It's not much of a great boon
When it's hits the person's moon

There's some fun, playful language here, but I'm not entirely sure what's happened. I'm guessing Cupid was supposed to shoot someone in the heart but hit their butt instead? I'm not sure what effect that'd have though? Would it still work, or would it only cause pain without affecting love?

A few of the rhymes are a stretch, and there's no regular meter, but it was still fun to read, and I appreciate people contributing a quick piece just to have something in these poetry rounds.

"Shall I quote the Immortal Bard?" her paramour sighed.
"Call me butt love," the stricken one replied.
