Drawing the Human Figure
The head is an oval with ledges,
The left arm hangs down like a hook,
The right arm is raised with a crook.
The torso's triangular edges
Meet the waist in a prismatic nook,
Then the right leg descending just so,
And the left leg's drawn out to the toe.
The left arm hangs down like a hook,
The right arm is raised with a crook.
The torso's triangular edges
Meet the waist in a prismatic nook,
Then the right leg descending just so,
And the left leg's drawn out to the toe.
I like the symmetry of the rhyme scheme in the first four lines, followed by three which form a "foot". It's hard for me to visualize what a "prismatic nook" is in this drawing.
