Catra dreamed. Hundreds of cats, thousands of cats, millions of cats.Big cats and small cats, fat cats and thin cats. Long cats and thin cats, strong cats and frail cats! Such an astonishing number of cats! "Mraiia mraaaaoo! Prraaau prrrrtt! We are the cats!" they purred, chirped and meowed together. Herded together, running over the fields and the mountains and leaping the streams and almost pouring from the sky, they came! Gray and brown and mackerel and orange and tabby, Siamese and Scotch folds, tubby cats and pregnant cats, and everywhere curious kittens, they flowed over the land and gave voice like millions of tiny lions and tigers, hording together for the greatest possible purpose! none stood before them, this flowing sea of felinity, as it clawed and dashed and scraped and spit and hairballed and soiled all that it encountered. They were all intent upon one thing as they dashed along, leaving trails of hair and claw marks over everything! They ran, despoiling all that civilization held dear, and soon they were approaching the grand point, craning their necks into the sky and looking up, all together, straining to see beyond the air, beyond the sky and stars and clouds, the one goal they all sought... Up above, like a moon with arms and legs, there in the sempiternal sky, the vast shadow of the grandest tallest cat ever! The thin dread lines of the Stickcat, crying out in wisdom to them all! "Mmmrraaaiau! Mrrou prrrmmouuuu prrt. Maaiaaiu!" cried the Stickcat. All the assembled cats sat for hours watching the grand display and heeding the words of their vast leader, and then as if by some great unspoken signal, the assembly was over. They left! All the cats, big cats and small cats, fat cats and thin cats. Long cats and thin cats, strong cats and frail cats, all of them made their way back to their respective homes under the silence of the night sky. They ran in complacency and strength, not even the strongest dog would challenge them. dashing in the ultimate display of their power and grace, they made their times and their paths through fields and dales, over the mountains and jumping the streams, all full of the great message they now had to deliver to all their homes, their families.. Catra got up, frowned, and tossed aside the bottle she found on her bed...
