Arthritis, myopia, rhinovirus  
Sickness, pain, madness  
Why bother go though this again and again?  
 
Aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen  
Water, tea, broth
Why not struggle and be a man?  

My checks are flushed  
Achiness, heat, here and there
As my spirits are crushed 
Crankiness, cold, breathing the air  

All I would have to do is go outside 
Put on a weak smile
Could spread this awfulness wide 
Wouldn't take much guile
